I almost never use stop-loss orders.
This is because if I’ve done my due diligence in the first place when analyzing the companies that I buy, then I will be confident that I am currently holding good companies that I bought at bargain prices.
It is normal for the market to go up and down. In addition, I can expect my stocks’ price to fluctuate as well. But from experience and historical data, I know that almost always the declines are just temporary and if I just wait it out, my good company will climb back to eventually reach my desired selling price.
I hope this info is helpful for you,
